Perspectie 58 About the authors Prof. dr. Veronika Hoffmann (1974) is a Roman Catholic theologian from Germany. She is full professor systematic theology at the University of Siegen. She obtained her doctorate at the University of Münster (2006, “Mediated Revelation: Paul Ricoeur’s philosophy as a challenge to theology”) and her habilitation at the University of Erfurt (2012, "Outlining a theology of the gift. Justification – sacrifice – Eucharist – love of God and love of neighbour"). Prof. dr. Gabriel Monet (1969) is a Seventh Day Adventist theologian from France. He is full professor practical theology at the faculty of theology Collonges-sous-Salève (France). His topics of interest, research and writing concern ecclesiology, in particular the challenges that the Church faces in postmodernity and post-Christendom (his major publication is his doctoral thesis L'Église émergente. Être et faire Église en postchrétienté ); but also the relationship between faith and culture, homiletics, and ecology. Dr. Petre Maican (1984) is an Orthodox theologian from Romania. Received his PhD from the University of Aberdeen (UK) in November 2016. The title of his thesis is: “Sketching an Ecumenical Ecclesiology for Eastern Orthodoxy: The Form of Christ Crucified with Special Reference to Stăniloae, Von Balthasar, and Tillich”. Viorel Coman MA (1984) is a Romanian Orthodox theologian. He currently works on a PhD at KU Leuven (Belgium). His research focuses on Dumitru Stăniloae’s Trinitarian ecclesiology in the context of the filioque debates. H
